Mission Statement

Our goal at North Light Books and Cafe is to be a values led, community based business where we are able to be of service to our customers, staff and ourselves.

To accomplish this, we seek

To provide our community with the finest and freshest local (whenever possible) food and drink as well as our quality offering of hand selected books.

To serve with integrity, compassion and good will. We promise to not sell anything we can't stand behind.

To provide service to our staff by paying a fair and reasonable wage, treating each staff member with respect and allowing them to perform their job with integrity and individuality.

To do business in our own community whenever possible and to support local, independent businesses.

To respect our environment by doing what we can to recycle, buy products from environmentally conscious providers and to avoid waste and contaminants.

To do all this while insuring that North Light Books and Cafe becomes fiscally sound and prospers so that we can all eat, drink, be merry and earn a living that we can be proud of.
